Global Ultrasound Case Analysis Symposium
The Emergency Medical Centre at China Medical University Hospital conducts monthly ultrasound rounds, engaging department physicians, residents, and medical students in ultrasound case analysis and explore critical topics in point-of-care ultrasound. This educational platform is also complemented by visiting international ultrasound experts who present cases and address emerging topics in bedside ultrasound.
GUCAS is the initiative of Dr. Lin Wei-Jun, an attending physician who is key driver in ultrasound development and instrumental in establishing the ultrasound imaging transmission and archival system in his department. Dr. Lin is also a visiting faculty for our USLS and ASC ultrasound courses.
Since June 2024, faculty from K-AISER have joined GUCAS on a regular basis. This ongoing exchange strengthens clinical expertise and fosters ultrasound development across both institutions.
